Case Study: Omni-channel Ecommerce Integration

We were approached by a client who needed a solution for their multiple ecommerce websites.

When it comes to ecommerce, there is no room for error. One wrong move and you could lose a customer for life. This was the challenge that our team at Aether Automation faced when we were approached by a client who needed a solution for their multiple ecommerce websites.

The client’s issue was that they were struggling to track orders and keep track of inventory across all their websites. This was resulting in order mistakes where customers ordered products that were out of stock, or orders were completely missed by the shipping team. In addition, the client wanted one place where they could view all orders so they could see the status, and run analytics to see what products are being purchased by which customers.

To solve this problem, we integrated all of the client’s ecommerce websites with Zoho CRM and Zoho Inventory. This allowed the client to automatically pull in any orders that were made on their websites into their CRM. This also allowed the client's websites to be updated with accurate inventory levels for their products, meaning that customers could only order products that were actually in stock.

The integration also meant that the client had one place to go to view all their orders, and run analytics on their sales data. This allowed them to make informed decisions about their business, and keep track of their inventory levels so they could avoid any out of stock issues in the future.

Aether Automation also automated the clients shipping process, so that once an order in their system was marked as "packed" it would be automatically sent to their shipping provider. This meant that orders were never missed, and the client could focus on running their business rather than worrying about the logistics.

The results of our project have been impressive. The client has seen a drastic decrease in order mistakes and refund requests. In addition, the client is able to recognize which of their products are selling better, and has a better grasp of how to manage their inventory.
