How can Zoho Integrate with Quickbooks ?
There are a few ways of integrating these two softwares. Depending on how complex your business is will give you insight to what option to take.
Zoho CRM Plugins
Zoho Flow or Zapier
Deluge
Zoho CRM Plugins
Zoho CRM Plugins can be found in the marketplace tab in Zoho CRM. Luckily, Quickbooks is a very popular app, so there are lots of available plugins. For most new businesses, its probably best to start with a Zoho CRM plugin.
Pros
Easy to Install
Covers basic use cases
Cons
Syncing will often be imperfect
Complex businesses (lots of tax types, product and service sales, component items, shipping, business accounts, retainers, etc...) will likely not be accounted for
Lack of support
Duplicate records are common
Zoho Flow or Zapier
Zoho Flow and Zapier can be used in most simple use cases as well. Many businesses find that when they need something very specific to happen, its safer to go with one of these options . If you're business has outgrown your Zoho CRM plugin, this would be the logical next step
Pros
Easy to start
Ability to be very specific in what gets automated
Can integrate into other software
Cons
There is a 5 minute delay to trigger automations
If a Flow or Zap breaks, you wont know about it until you notice a missing invoice
Flows are likely to start breaking after 6 steps
Zoho Deluge
Zoho Deluge is the scripting language built into all Zoho products. If you need something very specific to happen in your integration from Zoho to Quickbooks, or from Quickbooks to Zoho, then it should be built in Deluge. If your business is working with multiple tax jurisdictions, a variety of different pricing models, or blended billing, Zoho Deluge is where you should look.
Pros
Very specific
Business logic happens very quickly
Immediate user feedback on errors
Cons
It's code.. so its very difficult to start
